A one-hour conversation
We start with the business problem, not a feature list. What is slowing you down, what it is costing you, what you have already tried, and what would have to be true for it to be fixed. You do not need to arrive knowing what the software should be. Working that out is our job.

An initial demo
Roughly a week after that call you see a working demo, not a proposal document. It exists for one reason: to confirm we understood the problem correctly before anyone commits months to it. If we got it wrong, we find out in week one instead of month four.

Bi-weekly reviews
From there we build in two-week cycles, and every review is a working version you can click through. You steer with real feedback on real screens, so the thing that reaches launch is the thing your team will actually use.

Version 1.0 goes live

How is this different from a six-figure rebuild quote?
A traditional quote asks you to write a $100K to $200K check up front for software that is then frozen in time until the next big bid. We charge one monthly fee that covers building it, hosting it, securing it, and improving it every month afterwards. No giant check, no change orders when reality differs from the spec, and the platform keeps evolving instead of aging out.
What kind of platforms do you build?
Modern web platforms that a business runs on: replacements for aging on-prem applications, ERPs and CRMs shaped to how you actually operate, dispatch and fleet systems, customer portals, and hiring pipelines. Everything is a web platform, so it works on any device from the browser with nothing to install, and it connects to Microsoft 365 with single sign-on.
How fast will I see something working?
You see a real, working prototype within days, not a slide deck. From there it is three to five rounds of your feedback before it is genuinely usable. Focused builds go live in about a month or two; a full platform runs six months or more, but it ships in working pieces the whole way rather than disappearing into a black box.
Who owns the code?
You do. Everything we build lives in a repository you own from day one. If you ever leave, you take the entire codebase, the documentation, and the infrastructure with you. No ransom, no rewrite.
What if I only need one project, not an ongoing partnership?
Then we are probably not your best fit, and we will tell you that on the call. Our plans run on a 12-month commitment because the systems we build are the ones a business runs on, and those need someone maintaining them long after launch. If you want a small one-off build with nothing after it, a good freelancer will serve you better and cost you less.
Do you only work with Chicagoland businesses?
That is where we are based and where our IT and security roots are, so local clients get us in the room when it helps. But the work itself is remote-friendly, and we build for businesses anywhere in the US.
