Industries

Software built around how your industry works.

Off-the-shelf software makes every business work the same way. We build around the way your industry runs: the dispatch board, the reorder, the 6am class. These are the industries we know best.

01

Defense & aerospace suppliers

See what we build →

Most of the defense industrial base is small: machine shops, precision fabricators, aerospace suppliers and engineering firms, usually under a hundred people, usually with no security staff, and now with a certification standing between them and the work. What often comes up late is that the software you run is part of the scope. As soon as a drawing, a traveler or a spec carrying Controlled Unclassified Information is stored in a system, that system is inside your boundary, and somebody has to be able to explain it to an assessor.

  • Operations software built for the boundary
  • CUI out of spreadsheets
  • Fewer systems, not more
  • Built around Microsoft 365 rather than beside it
  • Evidence that comes from normal use
  • Platforms for the firms that serve you

02

Multifamily & affordable housing builders

See what we build →

Publicly funded housing comes with a second job nobody quotes for. Prevailing wage means weekly certified payroll, and chasing it down through sub-tier contractors. Section 3 brings its own forms and its own reporting. Every generic project management platform we've seen pushes all of it into a separate spreadsheet kept next to the software, and that spreadsheet is only current if somebody updated it this week.

  • Compliance tracked per sub, per job
  • Overdue paperwork gets chased for you
  • Draw packages off the schedule of values
  • Cost control that reconciles
  • A change order chain that holds up in review
  • Outside parties at the depth you choose

03

Executive search & succession firms

See what we build →

Retained search runs on relationships that change over time. The finalist who missed out in March is a hiring executive by the following spring, and a referral source after that. Run a CRM and an ATS side by side and you're keeping that person in two places that never quite agree. High-volume recruiting software is built for a different kind of business.

  • One record per person, whatever their role
  • Business development through to search
  • Shortlists with scorecards against the spec
  • A client portal you control candidate by candidate
  • Post-placement check-ins, set up automatically
  • Log it without leaving what you're doing

04

Sourcing & brokerage firms

See what we build →

You don't make it and you don't stock it. A customer describes something, you spec it, you shop it to vendors who can build it, you mark it up, and you coordinate it from order to delivery. Packaging, promotional products, print, contract packaging, private label, store fixtures. The vocabulary differs but the work is the same, and almost nothing off the shelf is built for it.

  • Inquiry to quote, in one thread
  • Vendor capability search
  • Cost and margin, properly locked down
  • Repeat orders that behave like repeat orders
  • Releases, shipments and vendor-to-vendor freight

05

Freight brokerages & 3PLs

See what we build →

A broker's job is to take a customer's load and find a truck for it. The hard part is knowing which of the hundreds of carriers you've talked to is worth calling for this lane, today. That knowledge usually sits in spreadsheets, a rep's memory and scattered notes. We build a system that puts it where the whole desk can use it.

  • A compliance gate that can't be skipped
  • MC verification before a carrier is even added
  • A reliability score, weighted the way you'd weight it yourself
  • Load matching, ranked for you
  • A follow-up board with a real cadence
  • A carrier workspace built around the call

06

Field service companies

See what we build →

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, restoration, pest control, environmental and wildlife management. If your crews are on the road, your business runs on scheduling, and most field-service software assumes two things that aren't true for a lot of these crews: that they'll always have a signal, and that nothing will need to be proven later. We build dispatch boards, crew apps that work offline, and compliance records that still hold up when either of those isn't the case.

  • A crew app that works with zero signal
  • Records that hold up if the work is regulated
  • Dispatch board
  • Customer reminders
  • Connected to your CRM or accounting system

07

Wholesalers & distributors

See what we build →

Distributors run on repeat orders, and repeat orders shouldn't need a phone call, a fax, or a PDF price list from March. We build B2B ordering portals where your customers see live stock and their own pricing, and their orders go straight into your ERP without anyone re-typing anything.

  • B2B ordering portal
  • Connected to your ERP
  • Customer-specific pricing
  • Account dashboards

08

Construction companies

See what we build →

You're past the point where spreadsheets and email can hold the commercial side of a job together, and nowhere near wanting to pay enterprise platform prices or take on the admin that comes with them. That's where most mid-size commercial general contractors are: a handful to a few dozen jobs running at once, an owner above you and trades below you, and every change having to pass between the two without being retyped four times along the way.

  • A cost budget that agrees with itself
  • The whole change chain
  • AIA pay applications
  • Subcontractor compliance, per job
  • RFIs, submittals and drawings at the right depth
  • The field paperwork too

09

Logistics & fleet operators

See what we build →

If your business moves things, your margins depend on your fleet: where the vehicles are, what they're carrying, and which one breaks down next. We build fleet and logistics apps that bring tracking, maintenance, routing and deliveries together in one place.

  • Live fleet map
  • Maintenance scheduling
  • Deliveries
  • Cost visibility

10

Staffing & recruiting firms

See what we build →

Recruiting firms win on speed and relationships, and both get lost in inboxes and spreadsheets. We build applicant tracking systems and CRMs shaped around how your firm really sources, screens and places, so candidates and clients stop slipping through the gaps.

  • Hiring stages built your way
  • Interview coordination
  • Client & job order CRM
  • Job board and website applications

11

Park districts & municipalities

See what we build →

Your registration system is the official record, and your website is where patrons use it. When the two aren't connected, staff enter every program twice and the site falls out of date between seasons. We build park district websites that pull directly from Vermont Systems RecTrac and WebTrac, meet WCAG 2.1 AA, and hand day-to-day content back to your staff. We've done exactly this for one of the larger districts in Illinois.

  • Connected to RecTrac and WebTrac
  • Registration and reservations patrons finish
  • Alerts, closures and the seasonal guide
  • Content your staff can update themselves

12

Fitness studios & wellness businesses

See what we build →

Gyms, studios, salons and clinics often run their members through booking platforms that charge per booking and keep the data. We build branded member apps with booking, waitlists, reminders and payments, so the platform fee goes away and the member list is finally yours.

  • Branded member app
  • Waitlists that fill spots
  • Push reminders
  • Front-desk admin

Different industry? These are the ones we know best, but the way we work carries over. Tell us about yours and we'll tell you honestly whether we're a fit.

Two promises the software industry hates making

One monthly fee, starting at launch

Design, building, hosting and support in one monthly number you can budget like rent. No hourly billing, no change-order invoices, and no per-seat fees that grow with your team. Billing doesn't start until the first version is live and your team is using it.

See the plans →

You own the custom code. All of it.

The account holding the code, the documentation and the hosting are in your name from day one. If you ever leave us, you take everything with you, and any developer can pick it up. You won't have to pay to get it back, rebuild it, or stay stuck on someone else's platform.

How we work →

Tell us what's slowing your business down.

In a free one-hour call we work out what the system needs to do and which plan it fits. Within two business days you have a written plan and a monthly number. No drawn-out proposals, no pressure.
